Nadal Too Powerful For Murray

Rafael Nadal ruthlessly swept aside Andy Murray 6-3, 6-2, 6-4 in their quarter final at Wimbledon today playing some World class Tennis in the process and producing some powerful shots that the Scot simply had no answer to.

Privately the result was no real surprise to many observers although at just 21 years of age Murray has done well to reach the quarter final stage and has not disgraced himself beaten by the player that will surely reach the final barring an upset.

The good news is that potentially Murray has the next ten years to win this tournament and he will of course improve his overall game as he gets older.

As for the Spaniard it is now looking increasingly likely that we will have yet another Federer versus Nadal final which as always will be an interesting clash of styles and personalities plus we will see if Nadal has improved from last year.
